Kindergarten through 5th Grade. This is our youngest group for our novice actors. Most have never tried theatre before. We focus on introducing singing, acting and dancing in manageable steps without overwhelming them. We teach them the basic aspects of stagecraft, and we play theatre games to reinforce those concepts. We aim for our "Little Stars" to get that theatre bug!
5th through 12th grade. This group is for all those who have the theatre bug! Many youth are still discovering their talents and are learning all the aspects of theatre - many, for the first time. Our goal is to foster a healthy environment in which budding actors practice their skills and have fun too. not only do we nurture their acting skills, choreography and musicianship but, also increase their awareness of all aspects of theatre, including stage management, lighting and sound, costume design and stage make-up. Requirement: bags of energy and enthusiasm, please!
Teaches social skills and team building through theatre and music. You do not have to have a learning style difference to participate in these classes. They are encouraged for all. We specialize in working with individuals with HFA (high functioning autism), Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, ADD, Non-Verbal Learning and other learning style differences.
A program for our adult thespians. This theatre group gives our actors (novice to experienced) a chance to perform a number of different theatrical genres. The group also travels to Scotland, on occasion, for the Fringe Festiival.
For all ages with a focus on family involvement and participation. You asked and we listened! This group is designed specifically for those families who would like to be involved in theatre together. Parents and grandparents no longer drop off kids at rehearsal, but actively participate in our productions on stage. We guarantee family members will be there to watch and enjoy young ones flourish before their eyes.
